Eliezer Yudkowsky's rewritten version of Harry Potter - Harry Potter & the Methods of Rationality - is a great read, check it out if you haven't already:

Luna Lovegood is one of my favorite characters from the Potterverse, so I hope she gets a chance to take center stage at some point in Yudkowsky's version. Hitherto now, she's been relaxing in a back-stage, supporting role - instigating chaos, yet never getting involved in it (being too young to enter Hogwarts yet is probably helping in that regard ;P).

She looks too ridiculous for Luna Lovegood, if there is such a thing.

But then I'm kinda biased toward the pretty though "flighty" (if that's the word) version in the movies. :P

She doesn't quite look ten. Much too tall.

Perhaps the chair is simply really really small? :|

It's a problem of proportions. Is the Quibbler there A4?

Ah, good point - I drew it as a broadsheet newspaper, but it might be more realistic for it to be tabloid-sized. Since the Lovegoods are essentially printing it themselves on a quasi-professional basis, it may be too big in the picture. Whoops!

I just thought that if the quibbler there is tabloid sized then Luna might be the right size, otherwise not...

Whelp, that settles it - the Harry Potter wiki even describes it as a tabloid ([link]), so it all works out in the end. :D
