NaruHina Month January 2015 - Day 5: Ramen

All you ninjas, can't you see, can't you see

Inspired by a post on Gabzilla-Z's Tumblr, where it was pointed out that one of Naruto's official wardrobe 'expansions' makes him look like a 90's boy band member.

Now imagine a Naruto AU where Konoha's hated Demon Brat pariah had a dream of future greatness. Become Hokage? No way! Naruto realized, after a chance encounter with pop music, that the easiest way to get the acknowledgement, respect, and warm fuzzy feelings from the rest of the village, was to become a rock star! And then he started his own boy band.

At first, the Backstreet Bunshins were, in fact, just a handful of his own Shadow Clones. That changed when some of the other less-than-popular boys at the ninja academy (Shino, Chouji, Lee, Konohamaru) discovered his plans, and decided that they wanted to be pop cultural icons, too.

Cue: montage of the five boys training to be pop singers/musicians/etc., getting their first gig - at Ichiraku's ramen stand, of course - and slowly growing in popularity.

Oh, and eventually Naruto realizes that Hinata is attending all of their concerts, and decides that it probably means that she wants to join the band - and then recruits her as their manager. (Slow yet inevitable backstage romance?)
